This is being sold as an unfinished Kit. It is all pocket screwed together. Made out of 3/4 Birch or Oak plywood in my cabinet shop. It is edge banded with real wood Oak or Birch banding and hot glued to the exposed ends.It is packaged in two boxes and wrapped in  plywood  to prevent damage.  I have an excellent no damage shipping record.  It is shipped Fed-Ex ground  3 day.The pedestal is 8 inches smaller than the mattress compartment, length and width. It is made for a standard mattress. The overall size is 76 X40 and the pedestal is 60X22X12. In depth finishing instructions available upon request.  Questions call me: 505-286-0856 Dan
