This is the basic bifold door style mechanisms that go with my Library beds. This mechanism also goes with all my bifold door style cabinets sold seperatly. You can bolt it to the floor or you can make a base out of 3/4 inch plywood and bolt it to that. I have done both successfully. The cabinet is fairly simple and just screws to the wall at the top. I offer several different plywood types but Birch is the most common.
The Murphy Bed Foundation is sold seperately in my store or buy 3/4 inch plywood from Home Depot and paint it white. The mattress lays on the foundation like a box spring.
Maximum thickness of Mattress is 9 inches, or we build the cabinet deeper.
