Constructed of high quality steel, this basic bifold door style mechanism goes with the Library bed kits. This mechanism also goes with all the bifold door style cabinets sold seperately. You can bolt it to the floor or you can make a base out of 3/4 inch plywood and bolt it to that. Two legs located at the foot of the frame are equipped with actuator arms which automatically store them when the bed is raised and lock them into a support position when the bed is lowered. Rubber shoes are mounted to the bottom of the legs to protect floors and carpet. The system is designed to hold 1000 lbs. The Murphy Bed mechanism has a Lifetime Warranty.
